Last week I made some handbags a new line of "kids" pillow toys called "Sleepy Squares". I don't have a camera so..sorry, you're gonna have to go down to The Hive Gallery (7th and Spring downtown L.A.) where they're shacked up with Marcel Dejure's Cinnamon Roll gang to see them (you'll know its my section by the broken velcroe sigils)...and then you should buy one too please. thank you.

..after the show many ask WHAT WAS REAL AND WHAT WAS SCRIPTED? who cares really?? just enjoy it--we do. i say, when the world has a false impression of your reality feed it to them on a plate. after last week's show, I heard the band members were cornered by concerned friends and fans asking how they put up with my abuse..hmm why has nobody has ever asked me if the triad of villanous exes around me makes me want to kill myself in real life? wtf? and btw, ITS A FUCKING PLAY PEOPLE! fact is, we're a bizarre little family and after that show, colin ambulance, rocio, jefferton and I continued to play music together for eight more hours for fun (and i unearthed my secret guitar shredding skills !) until i went home and cried alone because by 6 am it became apparent the riddle that parallels my reality would never be solved. (see next post). but whatever, we are good friends and like to hang out together. thats what we do. so all of you with "opinions" about how i treat my band. you're fools and you're also mean for talking shit about me when i'm just home sewing to keep from crying. fucking jerks. i hope im never famous.

In the next set of shows (JULY 8TH, 9TH, 15TH 16TH) I think Emily will now change her focus off of Haunted Tiger stealing heaven away with their unwelcomed crash landing that freezes time and stops the purification process.. and just start enjoying the frozen scenery..maybe some tap dancing drum beats or manifesting of lovley company to hang out with whilst they are trapped in Broken Velcroe Land. Maybe she'll call on friends Native Fauna, or Carissa Bianca Melado, or maybe emily will learn a trick to change that jefferton villan into a nice girl. That'll take an extraordinary amount of magic, but in broken velcroe land you can manifest anything you say aloud. Maybe even a new solution to the riddle.

Rocio is tired of hearing "how can you play with emily she's so mean and hard to work with..." because frankly that is not true..despite my paranoia she's not really twofaced and we may give eachother hard times but we r both tough bitches and ITS A FRIGGIN PLAY PEOPLE!! Moral this week: sometimes when you expliot reality like its fiction..fiction turns into reality and when you're a bunch of dreamers, everybody wins! I love my friends im glad they are trapped here in Broken Velcroe Land with me (but dont tell them that they might think i brought them there on purpose to try and make them famous with magic.)

Yes, it is me, that mysterious blonde in Fancy Space People who came and went. Dispite rumours the decision to leave was all mine and 75% personal. Well, they just released their first Vinyl E.P., recorded at Coldwater Studios (Smashing pumpkins studio) and released on Starry Records. It looks and sounds great, and yes I think that's me singing backup. That was nice of Don (or maybe not, who knows?) to put the face of this ex-band member all over the album. Hanging out with KatieB on the floor of my room making stuff out of stuff i have laying around, and theres a lot of it... yesterday colin ambulance gave me a bunch of broken junk jewelery and i have now stayed up all night with my glue gun and copper wire to create these lovely new refurbished steampunk-y peices of junk, fun stuff. i think they will all be presents... if you want one, ask and ye shall have.

Wowzers, my song, Drug Therapy, is on Neil Gaiman's myspace playlist.!!! hmm, thats probly not the real him huh? oh, who cares, its a good one! I like Mr. Gaiman for his stories yes, but moreso because has impecable taste in wives.

Amanda Palmer's "runs in the family" (also on that playlist) was my very favorite new song on a new CD that i'd bought in awhile, or ever, particularly because it came out just as i was beginning to write this opera, "Soft Inheritence" (yes i finally finished it), an eerie syncronicity the subject of genetic ghosts. she's so rad.
